Yeah, that'll teach those uppity people. How dare they make use of the rights given to them by their country? How dare they challenge an officer's bigoted views on races? I hope one day I can live in a country where we resolve all protests by senselessly beating, tazing and pepper spraying civilians.
so, what would you do if your friend decided to protest something, like a highway being put right in the neighborhood, and they're shouting at the people who want to pave the highway, and the police come and start beating up your friend for 'disturbing the peace'. then you see them being beat up. do you just stand there, point and laugh, saying they were being a "dumb prick" for protesting a highway being built right through their neighborhood?
I don't agree with this, and I have to say this becuase this irks me a bit. Sometimes police are brutal to people that didn't even do anything or know the the person can't help but to be defiant to a certain extent. My sister is like this. She has problems understanding things and when she is restrained things get worse. So you know what some prick did? The prick held my sister on the ground grinding a knee into her spine. You support that? That is sick.
Other time police will be brutal to the one being victimized too. I have experienced this. So I do not support police brutality because people undeserving are brutalized.
Even if it is the people still have a right to protest and saying the police should brutalize them is taking away from their rights. Do you want rights? Then don't advocate that the rights of others be taken away just on your opinions.
Besides I don't think it is them that is ruining our economy. I think it is the other jerks.
